What is All-on-4?
All-on-4 is a procedure that can be done on a patient who has had advanced periodontal disease or dental decay that is losing their teeth and needs to be placed in a denture.
It is done in cooperation with your restorative dentist. A plan would be put in place where the teeth were removed, four implants placed, and a denture placed the same day.
The advantage of All-on-4 is the denture is permanently in place. This helps preserve the bone and give the patient function of a denture without the denture becoming loose.
